Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a.9 FTE, day shift position in our Infusion Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will provide professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. When working in the oncology clinic, the nurse functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. When working in the chemotherapy infusion room, administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other intravenous medications according to established standards. Demonstrates a caring, competent manner to instill patient confidence and contribute to an environment that is centered on the needs of patients and their families.
