Location Highlights
Carlisle, Pennsylvania offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel routes. Carlisle sits about 25 miles from Harrisburg and is home to the historic Carlisle Barracks, one of the oldest military installations in the country. The area is near Pine Grove Furnace State Park, about 20 miles away, and provides access to Appalachian Trail hiking and lakeside recreation.
