5 days a week onsite - Hazlett NJ
Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join a growing technology team and
play a key role in the next stage of an established mobile application.
The app is already built and in market. This person will work hands-on within the
existing product while helping shape the architecture, scalability, and structure of
the front-end engineering team as the company grows.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who is passionate about technology,
energized by a startup environment, and excited to have a real impact on both the
product and team. This position is 5 days onsite and requires excellent
communication and collaboration skills.
Own and develop front-end/mobile functionality within an existing Flutter
application.
Help define and shape the front-end architecture and engineering structure
as the product and team scale.
Build scalable solutions while effectively working within a shared codebase.
Evaluate existing architecture and identify opportunities to improve performance,
maintainability, and scalability.
Own the mobile development lifecycle end-to-end, from development and testing
through deployment and production releases.
Manage and understand release and platform cycles across iOS and Android.
Oversee concurrent releases and distribution of test builds through platforms
such as TestFlight and Google Play.
Monitor app releases, platform requirements, submissions, and app-store
reviews.
Partner closely with leadership and other engineers on technical direction,
product priorities, and long-term scalability.
Help establish development standards and best practices for a growing front-end
team.
Remain highly hands-on with development while also serving as a senior
technical voice within the organization.
6+ years of software development experience, with significant front-
end/mobile development expertise.
Strong, hands-on Flutter experience is a MUST.
Deep understanding of Flutter/Dart and mobile application development.
Experience designing and working within scalable front-end architectures.
Strong understanding of shared codebases and reusable components.
Experience owning the full mobile release lifecycle across iOS and Android.
Hands-on experience with TestFlight, Google Play, app submissions, testing,
and production releases.
Ability to think strategically about architecture and scalability while remaining
hands-on with code.
React experience is a strong plus.
